In keeping with our goal of offering only the best products available, when we went looking for a flashlight to offer, we sought a design that would be equal parts functional, durable, advanced, and attractive. Our search ended with the Colorado-based Inova, whose founders can claim over 135 patents from their research in semi-conductors, laser technology, and light emitting diodes. 

Our first addition from Inova is the compact X5, from their X-Series, engineered to deliver professional performance with the durability to last a lifetime. Though relatively small, the X5 is nonetheless rugged and powerful. The body is machined from solid bar stock (not extruded tubing) with high grade anodized finish, and even features anodized threading on the ends for more reliable sealing. The X5's patented 3 position end-cap switch offers constant or momentary high and low light, as well as a lockout mode, making it well suited for travel.
